WELCOME
Cedar Grove Druid Order
Est. Oct. 31, 2003.
(Formerly Cedar Grove Druid Fellowship)
Cedar Grove Druid Order is family friendly, and non-tradition specific.
The Grove is a venue for Pagan Druids in Whatcom Co. Washington, to gather,
share, work, celebrate the seasons, and explore the various branches of Druidry
and Druidcraft today. Complimenting solitary practice with a sense of community,
developing both esoteric and exoteric potential.
If you are interested in what the Druid Way, both ancient and modern, has to
offer you; if you need a venue for discussion concerning your Druidic/Celtic
studies; if you are a solitary practitioner and desire a little sense of
community to enrich your own path; if you belong to a Druid group (ADF, OBOD,
etc.) already but need an actual group of kindred spirits to share with and
celebrate the Wheel of the Year with; and/or would like to benefit from the same
clergy services and spiritual support network that one might find in mainstream
religions; then this is the place for you!
Cedar Grove Druid Order is meant to be non-elitist, both Order and fellowship. Democratic,
transparent, respectful. This is not a deep, dark secret society- however
members' desires to not "go public" are respected.
Having said that, Cedar Grove was realized with an intention to eventually
obtain legal/ non-profit/ 'church' status here in Whatcom Co. This would not be
the first 'Pagan' group to do so, though it would be the first Druid group.
There are many 'closet' Druids, private practitioners, who do not have a public
outlet for their faith, save for the many other respectable Pagan groups in the area.
Cedar Grove is an intention to help fill this void for Whatcom Druids.
